McCain and Obama both start off calm. McCain stresses that Americans are angry and that he'll help keep them in their homes. Obama also discusses housing but then focuses on education and long term issues that effect the economy.
Obama points out that McCain voted for 4 out of 5 Bush admin budgets. McCain says "Senator Obama, I'm not Bush, if you wanted to run against George Bush you should have run 4 years ago."
great job on running commentary. I thought McCain did better than he has in 2 previous - more sincere, more coherent. Not clear it helps him, tho he may have regained some of his dignity. I'm still betting the race tightens in coming weeks and that final popular vote tally is close.

Obama keeps repeating the same talking points from previous debates, probably aiming to reach voters who haven't watched every debate like us.
